29th Annual Steel City INTERNATIONAL Hockey Tournament Information

January 7 - 10 2010

The Steel City International Tournament has become known as one of the top minor hockey tournaments in Canada. Teams from many areas of Canada and the United States travel to our Tournament to compete with our fine local hockey teams.

The Steel City Tournament has built a reputation of fierce competition, excellent officiating and outstanding hospitality. Most of the top scouts from the Ontario Hockey League, NCAA, Tier ll, Jr. A and Jr. B teams will be in attendance to discover the stars of tomorrow.

DURING THE INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT, SCOUTS WILL BE IN ATTENDANCE.

Three (3) X 15 minute stop time periods 		AWARDS for International Tournament:

2 MVP Awards Per Game
1 Tournament Goalie Award
Hat Trick And Shut Out Awards

REGISTRATION ENTRY FEE: Canadian or American Teams: $800.00
(American teams please remit entry fees in U.S. funds)

Due to limited space and an increased number of teams, please register early!
ALL TEAMS REQUIRE A TRAVEL PERMIT.

ENTRY PROCEDURE FOR 2010: Registrations will only be accepted online. Spots will not be held until payment has been received. In order to receive consideration, the tournament committee must receive entries no later than Friday, November 26th 2010 accompanied by a non-post dated cheque or money order payable to:

For INTERNATIONAL, also include: A copy for your Association-Approved players and staff cards as well as a copy for your tournament sanction permit or an approved A.H.A.U.S roster sheet. By mail ONLY

THERE WILL BE NO ENTRY ACCEPTANCES GRANTED:
Entry fee cheque/money orders or refunds will be forwarded to any team not accepted.
Teams withdrawing after final acceptance has been granted will forfeit entry fee.

SCHEDULE & SUSPENSION POLICY: Teams should be prepared to play their first game of the Tournament Thursday Noon Hour. In all cases teams travelling the greatest distance will receive consideration for the timing of their first game. N.O.H.A., C.H.A. and STEEL CITY TOURNAMENT RULES will apply during the tournament. The STEEL CITY TOURNAMENT uses the current years O.H.F. Suspension List to levy suspensions associated with major penalities.

ALL TEAMS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR LOCKING THEIR DRESSING ROOMS WHEN ON THE ICE - BRING YOUR OWN LOCK.
